Neb.Rev.Stat. § 8-2801 prohibits local ordinances or resolutions from adding to, changing, interfering with any rights or obligations of, imposing upon or requiring payment of fees or taxes of any kind by, a lender, mortgagee, beneficiary or trustee in a trust deed, or servicer, relating to, or delaying or affecting the enforcement and servicing of, any real estate loan agreement or any mortgage, deed of trust, or other security instrument by which the loan is secured. The measure applies to local ordinances or resolutions adopted subsequent to July 18, 2014, but does not apply to any ordinance or resolution adopted pursuant to the Community Development Law.
