Please note that you will not find “marketing” materials in this section in that financial institution marketing is beyond the scope of this publication. Time after time however, financial institution marketing specialists continually remind us that what bank consumers expect most is safety and honesty (both in word and in deed) from their financial institutions.
In regard to specific consumer compliance advertising, in addition to the chart provided in this section, you should note that there are separate articles throughout the Handbook in regard to required regulatory disclosures associated with specific financial products and services. These issues are covered in greater detail and within the context of the specific, applicable laws and regulations.
